Position Summary
The individual in this position ships and receives parts to/from customers based on orders and Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), tracking and monitoring them for accuracy and quality. They also assist in the coordination of transporting material and finished product inbound, outbound, and within NABCO operations. The individual in this role maintains inventory accuracy, conducts cycle counts, and conducts root cause analysis on inventory errors. 

Essential Functions
  • Follow instructions from the Logistics Supervisor and work alongside the Supply Chain/Logistics team.
  • Complete receiving transactions for all UPS, less than truckload freight shipping (LTL) companies, RMAs, etc. and maintains processes for receiving and shipping. 
  • Maintains inventory accuracy by correctly entering transactions and cycle counting.
  • Engages in Root Cause Corrective Action analysis when inventory errors are found.
  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling shipments/truck schedules for the North American market
  • Work with other areas to make boxes and help load those boxes with finished product. Be able to match up product from different production lines.
  • Load finished product onto the shipping trucks by hand or w/ lift truck.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Must be able to read prints and understand measuring equipment such as tape measures, scales, and their decimals / fractions.
  • Must be dependable, responsible, and have a “team” attitude.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, work overtime, etc.
  • Must always maintain close attention to detail and organization; must be quick to learn new processes and keep work area clean.
Education, Training, Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office required
  • Up to 2 years’ experience with an ERP system preferred

Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Work is performed in a factory with exposure to extreme weather conditions; noisy, dusty, and dirty environments; and motorized equipment that pose potential safety hazards. Long periods of standing, as well as regularly walking, sitting, lifting, reaching, and bending, are required. Regularly lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Proper safety procedures, lifting techniques, and personal protective equipment are always required. This position may require extended hours and overtime depending on business needs.
